About Dr. Shruti Kate

Dr. Shruti Kate is a qualified medical oncologist. She did her Bachelors in Medicine Bachelors in Surgery (MBBS) from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College (2003- 2008), Delhi and MD Internal Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College (2010-2013), Delhi. She then pursued DM Medical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (2013-2016).

Senior Consultant , Medical Oncology, Cancer Centres of America, Nashik.

Past Position

Consultant & Head of the Department of Medical Oncology ,HCG Manavata Cancer Centre –Septemeber 2018 to June 2024.
Lecturer, Department of medical oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital January 2018 to August 2018.
Senior Registrar , Department of medical oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital August 2016 to July 2017.

Biography

She has received training under the able guidance of stalwarts of medical oncology and she is experienced in treating all solid tumors, pediatric tumors and hematological malignancies.
She has treated close to 50000 patients in the last10 years. She has an expertise in management of breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancers, gynaecological and genitourinary cancers.
She has presented her research on lung cancer in the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in Toronto and was the solo recipient of travel award from India in WCLC 2018.

She is a member of reputed international and national oncological societies (ASCO , ESMO ,IASCLC , ISMPO AND IOS).
She has many publications in reputed international and national journals.
She has a deep interest in immunotherapy and metronomic therapy for treatment of advanced cancers.
She has actively participated in many cancer awareness and screening camps. She is a crusader of tobacco free society, early detection and prevention of cancers.
